Reaching into N. Beltline and parts of Forest Acres, the Gills Creek basin stretches the length of Devine Street to the southeast, including portions of Hazelwood Acres and Bluff Estates.
Recent improvements to area pump stations and force main and gravity sewer are tackling growth and capacity issues in the fast growing Gills Creek area. One such project, the recently completed Lake Katherine Sewer Capacity Enhancement project, addresses current and future wastewater flows in the area, increases capacity, and reduces sanitary sewer overflows.
