Project Description:
A Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) was completed, and it recommended the construction of a new pump station to meet the future pumping needs. However, based on the latest hydraulic modelling, the new pump station is not required until year 2030. Also, the new pump station will be built on a site (along with new wet weather storage tanks) upstream of its current location. Regardless, there are a number of interim improvements needed (some identified in the PER) to keep the current pump station operational and capable of pumping up to 34-35 mgd until then.
