CW2020 Employee Newsletter Vol. 6, No. 1The Wastewater Maintenance Division and CDM Smith hosted NASSCO PACP (Pipeline Assessment Certification Program) and MACP (Manhole Assessment Certification Program) training December 11-13, 2017 at the new Water and Wastewater Administration building. The three days of training included a two-day class for new certifications and a re-certification class on the third day. NASSCO Trainer John Schroeder kept the attendees engaged with questions and discussion. CDM Smith GIS Specialist Jack Beers and Environmental Engineer Liz O’Sell gave a demonstration of how pipe and manhole condition assessment data is being used in Columbia to determine rehabilitation needs. Several consulting firms participated in the training with City of Columbia staff.
