Project Description:
Miscellaneous improvements at the Broad River Pump Station, including replacement of the four existing dry-well pumps with new PLCs and VFDs; installation of an HVAC system for the entire first (top) floor of the pump station; improvements to air circulation within the subfloors; installation of a single-stall restroom with a sink; installation of an upsized generator; application of coatings to wet wells and grinder vaults; and site-lighting improvements.
Construction of the improvements began in August 2024 and is expected to be completed by October 2026. A number of operator training sessions on various components of the PS are scheduled from August through October 2026.
