Project Description: This project proposes the addition of wet-weather storage at the North Columbia Pump Station to control downstream discharges from the pump station to prevent surcharges and overflows in the Congaree outfall. This project was identified as part of the collection system hydraulic modeling study (Hazen and Sawyer, 2014). This project is classified as a capital investment because it includes the construction of new storage facilities. This project will help defer the need for additional downstream sewer improvements for the immediate future. Total Current Contract Value is $13,176,883.50.
